Apple iPhone 5 Questions / Reservation List Numbers.

Hello Everyone.

Seeing as Apple already announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 5, this thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do not make another thread about reservation & all. I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..

Now all we need to do is wait for Rogers to announce when they will add the iPhone 5 to the resevation list & once its done, sign into your My Rogers account - Overview & you will see a Red wording saying " Device Reservation". Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want "16GB,32GB,64GB" & you just need to pick the store you want it to go too.

Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee but once the device gets shipped, they will credit the fee back to you. Also remember you will not be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The reservation list is made so they keep a phone in your name & you go pick it up once the store gets it.

This is something Rogers can not change unless they do.  The prices are going to be the same $199 for the 16GB, $299 for the 32GB & $399 for the 64GB version. Like i said those prices MAY change from Rogers but those are the prices Apple said they will be.

Also the prices for the new iPhone 5 outright price will be as followed:

iPhone 5 16GB : $699

iPhone 5 32GB: $799

iPhone 5 64GB: $899

As I'm in Victoria and the warehouse is in Toronto and my pick up location is not a Rogers plus I'm thinking maybe the beginning of next week.

with the drop of over 100 today I'd say they are working today, even though it is a holiday.    I've now ordered another unit for my husband a 32gb black and that one is 4200;  I figure 4 weeks for that one.

Looks like it. They must have figured out it's cheaper to pay some OT rather than issuing 1000's of $50 credits. Providing they have the product to ship that is.

I thought it only shipped out from the warehouse fri/sat or is that not the case now?

That is not the case. They ship out mostly around Tuesday - Saturday. Those days they ship out. Sunday & Mondays are excluded because of the new shipment coming in & such. Seeing as today is a holiday, they will start packaging & shipping out the phones as of Tomorrow.

hey so if i order thr iphone 5 over the phone this thursday, how long would it take to get here? Just rougly, cause i dont want to wait more than 4 weeks.

It may take a week or  2 weeks to get to the store. Depending on what status you are in & which number on the reservation you are. In order to see your reservation number, log into My Rogers - Overview - Device Reservation ( Red Button )

Give & take it would take another week or so. The numbers will drop mid week & Ship most likely Thursday or Friday.

For those who got the text/email regarding the $50 credit for waiting 2 weeks, did Rogers already apply the $50 credit to your invoice?

It wont get applied on the account UNTIL you get the device & do the hardware upgrade. This is how that works.

did you pick up the device before? Also i would call in & see IF they actually did apply it or the system did it by accident. I would call in before anything happens just to make sure that is the credit.

Log into My Rogers - Overview - Product & Services & it will be on the left side in the middle. If its not there, you will need to send in the paper mail in rebate.
