Hey everyone!!

Once again its the time of the year that Apple announces their new iPhone line up. I am happy to announce That Apple this afternoon announced the Apple iPhone 7 / 7 Plus !. The device seem to have amazing specs! Including water resistant and most of all, new cameras and also including new chips and memory!



1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the Apple iPhone 7/7 Plus to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want; IPhone 7 / 7 Plus in any color and Black and what other colors they may release it on. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .

- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.
- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.
- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.
- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.


2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.


3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.

They offered me the same, go in store and purchase it out right, escalation's offered to credit the difference. Why should we be the one's stuck searching for devices if technically we had a reservation for one? Doesn't that make the whole reservation system mute in that case?? lol

Indeed! I personally think that the corporate site is not working literally. Doesn't make any sense it's not moving a bit.

I'm not expecting it to move all at once but a few devices a day, even 1 a day, but that hasn't happened since it opened? The only reason people may have dropped a few places was probably due to cancellation

I have tired to see if I can get it from the apple store or rogers store but my rep will not credit me the difference.

The Apple store doesn't have the validation to access most corporate and business customers accounts. This leaves u to wait to receive it. Same goes with most Rogers stores.

 That's not true, they have delivered on Saturdays before. Who they are using for this, I'm not sure. My bosses wife had her phone delivered right to her door on a Saturday. It wasn't UPS or a big brand delivery company.

You're not the only one. I haven't budged, nor has the second reservation (20/40 respectively). Strike that, I've moved, but for cancellations at best. Something is broken, I've sent an email off to support to ask what is going on. It makes zero sense, mean ABSOLUTE ZERO sense why there hasn't been 20...I REPEAT TWENTY 2-0  iPhone7+32 MBlack.

 

I was patient until I came back from vacation only to find that, nope, I haven't moved a single number.

Unfortunately I knew about QMS but they only used them for emergency shipments and never on any reservations. No one educatede anyone:).

Anyways i noticed alot of Apple stores are getting more JB units in stock. So Hopefuly Rogers does too.

I've been "In Progess (Pre-fullfillment) since day 1. As someone else said it, I have a feeling there is someting broken with the corporate pre-orders as not a single 7+ device has been allocated (40 days strong). Either Rogers is completely ignorant or they truly don't care about corporate, which is surprising.

Story of our lives! We've got multiple orders in positions 2 & 3 (different models all Jet Black), exact same as you - sitting "In Progress - Pre-Fulfilment" since day 0 of pre-orders!

Corp customer service and the escalation's desk tells us it means they're waiting for devices as they don't have stock....which we know is not true, they for some reason, and unbeknownst to them as well, are not being allocated to corp and/or the corp specific shipment has not arrived. It's all bull because we all know there is no consumer or corporate model, they are identical regardless of channel.

As an update, our request to escalate to the President'a office was, as predicted, ignored...

Not sure if my story will help anyone much, but here it goes.
 
I ordered my iPhone 7+ 128GB Silver device on September 9th through the Rogers Direct website, as I am a corporate customer. On that day, I was 26th in queue and by last week, I had only moved to 18th due to cancellation. This is something you are all familiar with.
 
I have been following this discussion since day one and been trying to be patient about the whole situation until my current phone, for one reason or another, stopped holding a charge for more than 3 hours or so. I had multiple engagement with business support over the weeks, only to receive the regular scripted responses.
 
About a week ago I got so frustrated with how Rogers has been treating its corporate customers, that I called our account manager and threatened to start moving our account to competitors who seem to be able to deliver much sooner. I told Rogers that since carriers are catering to new accounts only, switching providers would guarantee us delivery much sooner.
 
This seemed to have ruffled some feathers, because I was then told that I will have a device in my hand no later than Friday, October 21st. Sure enough, I just received notification that my phone shipped and our account manager has provided me with the UPS waybill.
 
What I am trying to say, is that if you are completely dissatisfied with your service then you need to contact your account manager and raise a stink. Now my role at our organization is a decision maker, so there was weight behind my threats but that should not stop you from at least trying.
 
It saddens me that results can be achieved only through such measures, and perhaps I should not hold my breath until the device actually gets delivered, but it sure does seem like my actions worked and I would encourage you to do the same. Rogers needs to understand that treating their corporate customers like this is unacceptable.

I've Been Here Awhile

Like everyone else i pre-order on day 1, not at 6am tho but still for the 7 plus Jet Black 128go. Still 511 on Rogers Customers Line...

 

I saw the jet black 256go available for pickup tomorrow at Apple Store Ste-Foy. I will get my phone tomorrow and no longer wait on Rogers.

Hi everyone, got tired of waiting and listening to the same excuses everyday from rogers so I looked on istocknow.com and saw that The Toronto Eaton Centre had stock, surprised that when I called in the afternoon they still had the 128gb 7+ jet black in stock, reserved it and just came back from picking it up. I'd anyone reading this is on the corporate side do yourselves a favour and find a location, the rogers direct I don't think personally is working, in more ways than one

As much as i advice the same thing, not many business and corporate customers can do upgrades at the Apple store or Rogers store due to the security level on the account. I would say call and ask before going and might be disappointed. My buddies corporate plan rejects him from getting it from the Apple store.

Hey guys, I've been keeping up with this forum so I thought I'd chime in on what my progress is. Unfortunately I do not have a reservation number as I ordered the phone when it came out (Sept. 16th) instead of preordering the phone. I ordered the phone under my CORPORATE account. At first they told me it'd take 2-4 weeks then when I called back at a later time they told me 6-8 weeks. I got pretty frustrated as it seemed that corporate customers were being kept on the back burner in regards to stock and when I called them they told me they'd put an express order on my account to speed things up. As of today, Oct 19, I received confirmation of shipment on my device (Iphone 7+ black 128gb). If you've been waiting longer than I have ie. preordered the phone and still haven't received it on the corporate side, I would call in and complain. I've called in around 6 times regarding the device delay and nobody seems to know a thing. I hope everyone gets their device soon, especially if you've preordered.

Well I finally got it. My black 7+ 128. Started at 1100 or so on the preorder consumer line. Went into progress 8 or 9 days ago and picked it up today from rogers. Good luck everyone. See you all next year!
