That's actually a pet peeve of mine following a script.... if it's online or on the phone I ask the rep to drop the script as it doesn't answer my questions and usually just "frustrates" me even more then b4 I contacted them... I also ask if they don't know the answer just to say so instead of saying stuff that's scripted.
at least if it was scripted you know that someone in a position of knowing authorized the script...
but thats not the case.. most of the reps are talking out of their ... and have no idea what they're talking about..

That would be an absolute shame. I am starting to believe it is, though, because still no movement since they sent it to me on Tuesday and I am sitting in the queue at 18 for the 7+ Silver 128GB. But why even mention that they have deliveries planned if it is all just script?
Hey all - If purchasing the Iphone 7 from the Apple Store, would I be paying the full price for the phone or do they offer the discounted price, if selecting a 2 year plan. Or do I have to coninue with my pre-order (through Rogers) to receive the discount?

maybe rogers will be copycats too and copy verizon and AT&T and start giving away iphone 7's for free with a 2 year plan, make unlimited LTE data and cut the monthly charges in half...
would be nice..
i often thought about going to buffalo and getting a Verizon plan and using it with 100% roaming here in Toronto, and it will still be cheaper than ANY of the big three carriers in Canada
So I cancelled my reservation with Rogers and picked up a Matte Black 7+ from Apple. I made the decision after I called Rogers, who said they had received internal emails stating how the JB will be delivered 6-8 weeks from launch date.
Couldn't wait for that long and besides, Rogers pre-order is a sham which was setup in the worst ways imaginable.
One more then, the JB gets finger print smudges like crazy, you might have to carry a cloth with you everywhere. If you are going to use a cover, I would say cancel the poor Rogers reservation and resevr directly with Apple, where you can still go on to your existing plan.
