Wow... So I really really want the Jet Black lol.
Just realised I have the money to just say "f it..." and buy unlocked from apple this year. So I could just do that.
I am sitting at 459 for my JB reservation at Rogers, and 330 for the regular Black.
Apple store claims November ship date. I wonder whether Rogers or Apple will get it faster. But if I order from Apple I am committed to that. What does everyone think? Should I cancel my reservation and go with Apple or wait out?
Also, anyone who HAS an unlocked outright iPhone 7/7+ bought from Apple, are you able to use VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling? I don't want to run into issues with those.

Hey just wondering if anyone can answer my question. If I do the reserve and pick up at an Apple Store and im with rogers, do they just bill the amount of the phone to my account? or do I pay for the device at the store. I just want to know what to expect when I get to the store. Thanks!

This thread sure is quiet today...I guess we have all accepted temporary defeat until the 2nd wave next week...I'm down to checking my device reservation only once an hour today 🙂
still stuck at 30 for a 7+ 128 black....

at least I see an upside to the delays...it is keeping me pre-occupied this week and i have actually forgotten about the agony of waiting for my factory order for my new sports car....have to find a silver lining throughout this device reservation fiasco...

And those of us still here don't have much left to talk about, because we have been "making conversation" about a reservation for over a week now... And we are running out of topic ideas... LOL.
Anyone get a RogersDirect status change today? I did not... Just wondering if any were processed today... I assume not. Hoping I see something on my Pre Fulfillment status on Monday.

Sad that I couldn't give my daughter her new silver 32gig + this weekend being that I am #2 on the list, but it eases my mind that I haven't heard about others getting their hands on one either as walk-ins (that would really upset me)!!! LOL
I've heard about a lot of 128gigs, 256gigs, but I don't think I've heard of a single 32gig silver +. Even the Rogers by me only had Rose Gold, or how I call it, pepto bismal pink... lol

@canamera Reserve it at a local Apple store if possible! It opened at 2am last night and there were tons of 7 plus' available, including the 32GB Silver 7 Plus. There were still phones available when I woke up at 9am as well!

I would have secured one (or tried to) at the Apple store but since it's going to be a new activation (as a new client), I absolutely have to get it through a particular rogers store that my preorder is set to ship to. Apparently, I have to do this because they are the only ones who can setup my employee price plan (corporate discount i believe it's what it's called).
Also, I'm almost regretting not getting the 128gb, and was wondering, if I cancel my reservation and re-reserve for a 128gb, would that set me back to like longer wait times. Just discovered that I used up around 30Gb on my current 6s+ 64gb so that's kinda a bummer, I thought I used less than that LOL

The apple store I went to today (Markville Mall) had a few rogers reps in store to handle new activations and my upgrades were on business accounts so there is no problem with system access.
When i last upgraded (the iphone 6), I ended up just signing up on a regular plan then calling into the business support and converting the plan afterwards. It's a little more work but easier than navigating this reservation system it seems. Just saying that it might be worth a shot since you can always return the phone to apple if you dont use it until its sorted.

I'm guessing alot of people cancelled today. i was #1 for reservation but got one through the apple store, so I cancelled it.
The rogers reservation system stinks, people were getting new iphones from rogers stores but i wasnt getting my preorder even though I was the #1 position. I originally ordered a 32gb 7 plus to save some money but the apple store only had 128s left so i just went for it, and i have to say I dont regret the extra storage.
Ill be reserving through apple next time I get an iphone.
