Once again its the time of the year that Apple announces their new iPhone line up. I am happy to announce That Apple this afternoon announced the Apple iPhone 7 / 7 Plus !. The device seem to have amazing specs! Including water resistant and most of all, new cameras and also including new chips and memory!
1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the Apple iPhone 7/7 Plus to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want; IPhone 7 / 7 Plus in any color and Black and what other colors they may release it on. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .
- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation. - If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account. - If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose. - If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.
2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.
3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.
Let's make this thread the only thread for the devices please and if you guys have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me and I'll gladly be able to helpSmiley Happy *Edited Labels*
Looks like both Amazon and Rogers have decided to push my release day shipment of items to Monday. So far. But seems as though I'm out of luck this weekend. What the heck is the point of preordering if I can't get my stuff on release day?
Did you originally order on consumer side and have it cancelled and switched to business, or did you order right from the business side?
What number/numbers were/are you?
Have you received an email saying it was shipped, or just by looking at your reservation?
I ask because I'm waiting for the same phone. I was 52 on the consumer side and had mine cancelled (switched to business) by Rogers. It won't let me look on the business side to see my status, and have not seen an email yet.
If you have read the reservation page, it did mention that you might not get it at launch and u have mentioned this as well before.
No one can blame Rogers here. Rogers isn't control of the stock they get or what they get from Apple. They get what they get. Everyone should be looking at Apple and complaining to them like all the other follows which are doing in the US.
Please read the previous posts to understand what is going on instead of asking the same questions. Giving answers is good but also reading for answers is better. I know there are many pages but i am sure many can check a few pages back to get the answer if needed or been already answered.
What gives? Blame Apple for no sending barely any devices to the carriers. Rogers has NO Control over this. They csnf do much other then wait for shipments. Read on MS the statement Apple gave this morning.
You be quite surprised what Apple sends Rogers or any other carriers. If you haven't read what is going on, let me explain. Apple in the US declined the customers who paid for the Upgrade program to get the new phone. We are talking bout thousands of customer. After the upraised problems they had, they am decided to give them the devices. Now taking into consideration the they had stock for carriers, they took half of that stock and put it towards that and also into their own stores. Do realize Apple doesn't care if u don't get it from ur carriers as they know u will get it from them. So they stock up do on their own site and stores. It's known for years they been doing this. Apple even released a statement that they won't have any JB devices and other colors have limited supply for carriers and then. Apple is known for doing tricks like this and not having enough stock. Last year most carriers didn't even get the Plus models until a day or so after. I waited until. Saturday to get mine meanwhile my buddy waited until Tuesday the following week to get it from Bell.
They aren't disappointing anyone. No one is forced to use the reservation system. They can go to Apple and pre-order from there but again it's their own choice. Nothing can be done unfortunately and sadly it's not up to Rogers for stock levels from Apple. This is Apple's fault here. Rogers only does what they are told to do by Apple and that means put it up on the reservation system and have it there.
Now u had a chance to read the FAQ and print on the reservation page which clearly states you MAY NOT get it at launch or be the first one to get it. The put it there for a reason.
ATT and Verizon are having the same issues from what i am reading online. Some are saying they received their devices meanwhile some are saying they have to wait until next week.. Same goes for Rogers. All comes down on how may units Apple sends them. Apple controls everything that had to do with a iPhone, launch for the iPhone and pricing. If Apple says one thing they have to do it. Why? Because it's on the contract they signed to carry the iPhone and sell it.. Same goes with all carriers Sadly. Been doing the threads on the forums for years and worked in the warehouse before a couple of times to know and seen this. Many don't know all this stuff.
But again I say, I am position 2. I just don't understand how Rogers hasn't received 2 of the phone I preordered. I really think Rogers preordered system is flawed, and if I knew it was this bad I may have gone straight through Apple. When I preordered my iPhone 5 from Rogers, I got it launch day with no issue, and it was supposed to be a high demand phone as well. I just hope I get my phone soon.
IPhone 5 was a couple of years ago. Alot has changed Sadly and i noticed this too. You can think it's flawed but it's not their fault for not receiving devices. Can't stress this enough.... The system has issues yes but csnt control stock as its not their problem. It's Apple's problem. Apple manufactured the devices, not Rogers. Rogers only carries them and sells them.
