hey Meowmix always good to chat with ya brah!
I see you everyyear as I too do the upgrades with you lol
So far, Apple, time is most likely 3am -- 12am Pacific time like last few years
Rogers- well . few years back it was 3am, then last year 6am, so I think most likely 3am - 6am...
sounds about right?

I'm waking up at 6am regardless of what time the preorder starts. Getting too old for early morning shenanigans.
Can't believe this will be my 10th iPhone lol

My wife is looking to move to a new 6s plus. Does anyone know what the new pricing model will be for the 6s model?
Upon reveal of the new 7 I was shocked to find on the Rogers store that the price of the 6s plus 64GB has gone up 100$ !!! wut?

makes sense meowmix. Honestly I'm still a bit up in the air about upgrading. Not much incremental benefit from the 6s as far as I can see. Next year's model will be insane I think.
Thanks for moderating this discussion again this year!

Meow, your original post says
"Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers"
If you arent a current customer, is the Pre-Order a different process? Does it happen after the reservation upgrades?
Thanks

Hey Guys
So checking the Best Buy website it seems the highest model iPhone 7 Plus 256GB Jet black will be $799 on a 2 year term. So is everyone willing to pay that much for a phone on a 2yrs term?. Crazy pricing...
iPhone 7 32GB - $399 (2yr term
iPhone 7 128GB -$529 (2yr term)
iPhone 7 256GB - $649 (2yr term)
iPhone 7 Plus 32GB - $549 (2yr term)
iPhone 7 Plus 128GB - $679 (2 yr term)
iPhone 7 Plus 256GB - $799 (2yr term)

Hey Meowmix,
"On a 2-year Premium+ Tab plan starting at $125.00 /month"
Is this true? This is what is says under the 6s and the Note 7? Will we need a minimum plan of 125?

that best buy pricing is exactly what I was expecting. $500 subsidy on every model with a 2 year term. Exactly the same as last year.

SO WHAT would you do ? buy outright or buy on contact?
09-08-2016 03:20 PM
Yup I think its $1309 for that model from apple so you're actually getting an extra $9 subsidy by going that route lol. Plus saving the tax on $509.
Buying that model unlocked from apple would be almost $1500 with tax
