Anyone else with an Android device have this working?
When I try loading it up on my Rogers Sony Xperia arc, a popup appears: "Unrecognized device. Please try again later."
It's not a big deal since I use (better) 3rd-party backup programs, but it's annoying that an unremovable application is bundled with a phone that apparently isn't supported.
Same problem here. Initially got message it could be run over WiFi, so I turned off WiFi and tried using 3G, then got the same unrecognized device error. Just got off phone with Rogers Tech Support, they have escalated to Level 2 since this is a Rogers app.
Were you able to get this issue resolved with your mobile back up application? If not you may want to speak to our phone support team and have your issue escalated to our network support team as it is a Rogers application.
No the issue is still unresolved and I did have it escalated, but as usual, I never hear(d) back from Rogers. In addition, in the meantime, I also have a Rogers Samsung Nexus S and I get the same "unrecognized device" error on that phone. Seems to me that Rogers needs to address this for all Android phones, and ASAP.
I can't get mobilebackup.rogers.com to even open on my phone so I can go on and try to back up. The app seems to be missing now as well?
