Activating Ethernet Port (wall)

Hi,

I'm trying to activate our wall ethernet port, what I did was I connected a router to Touchstone Telephony Modem (TM602g), but what I'm getting is just LOCAL ACCESS ONLY. What else do I need to configure? I open the web login which is 192.168.0.1 to configure but I still can't get it to connect to internet.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Activating Ethernet Port (wall)

This is the home phone modem?

While technically by the specs this device can act as a Internet modem, they way Rogers has its phone/tv/Internet separated, they can not do this.

So the Ethernet port on this will do nothing.
