4udiscount.com an internet scam?

A pop-up with the rogers logo on it is promoting an iPhone gift if you complete a short survey. After the survey is completed, you are redirected to a website called 4udiscount.com where you need to fill in some info to claim your phone. Is this legitimate and associated with Rogers?

This has all the hallmarks of a phishing scam. Reaching out to us for confirmation was the right call. If you ever receive an offer from someone claiming to be Rogers, you can always reach out to us for verification. We encourage it! Keeping our customer's personal information secure is one of our top priorities.

I do not recommend providing any personal information to an unsolicited pop-up such as this. Be wary out there and only give out your personal information to sources you can trust... and if you're ever unsure, don't hesitate to PM us directly for advice.

With there being so many different scams running rampant these days, it's always important be extra cautious, especially when an offer seems too good to be true!  

As per RogersCorey's post above, this offer is definitely not a legitimate offer made by us. Just a reminder to never:

* Share personal information.
* Click on any links or open any attachments if they are suspicious.
