Did anyone else not get these? Was part of a promotion in March for switching to a current plan. That was March 27th, still no visa in my mailbox.

Hello @ikotenkov,
Welcome to the Community Forums, and thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Just as an FYI, for residential customers the shipping times vary based on location. For Ontario customers it's approximately 60 business days from the date of activation. And for Atlantic customers it's 90-120 days from the date of activation.
Depending on your activation date, if the wait times have surpassed what's mentioned above, please send a PM to @CommunityHelps and we can escalate this matter for further review.
If you're not familiar with how to PM, please follow this link for instructions.
Regards,
RogersShaun

Greetings @kurtiscollette!
Welcome to our Community Forums!
I know you're excited to receive your promotional Visa card, I would be too! However it may take up to 60 business days for this card to arrive. How long has it been now?
If it's been over 60 days already, please PM us via @CommunityHelps and we will escalate this matter for further review.

I haven't received mine. The promotion was still active April 1 when I switched to rogers. We are waiting for 2 of them as we activated 2 lines! I've called twice regarding this they told me it takes 4-6 weeks so with that said 6 weeks is Friday. We shall see! Please update if you get yours.

Yup I have gotten the same run around with both online chat and telephone rep! My request has been escalated yet never any response. Well apparently the rogers person above said can take "60 business" days. Seems like no one at rogers has the same reply. Wonder what will be said in 60 business days! It's very upsetting. I activated 2 lines and was assured the promotion would be honoured and it would be 6 weeks MAX! I'm at almost 8 weeks!

Hello Tony,
It appears after seeing all this that the rogers prepaid card is merely a scam to get people to sign up. I signed up for a premium rogers package specifically to receive the 500.00 visa prepaid card and it has been 3 months. I still have not received the card. It concerns me that people are saying they had their matter escalated as I did today and they were not contacted. Every rogers rep has a different answer is absolutely correct. One women told me 6 weeks, one 2 months and one 3 months. 7 months is a long time for those waiting from April. I am cancelling my services with rogers if I am not contacted and do not get the card after the escalation call.

Hello @inthenow,
Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums.
Unexpected delays can definitely hamper the excitement about getting a prepaid visa. You say you've been waiting since April to receive the gift card? Is that correct? Have you had a chance to follow up on the escalation you mentioned earlier?
Please keep us posted.

Did you ever receive your promotional prepaid visa card? I signed up in May & had services installed June 2nd - different answers from everyone I talk to, run around, no results..they tell me its been processed but not sent out..Its now been 17 weeks! and nothing! I was supposed to receive the $500 prepaid Visa card. I am calling local newspaper - and the Better Business Bureau..its not right! - and then disconnecting my services! After all I have no contract with them since they have not held up their part of the deal..so I am not legally bound by it either. For me..its bee 85 BUSINESS DAYS!

I have already forgotten I should've received some prepaid card, and now talking to Rogers support, it appears they have set a one-year term on my bundle because of this card, which I never received.
It was not communicated to me that it has a term, it was communicated as a free promotion, just because I registered. I would never agree to a term.
This is how Rogers works, apparently.
I will be canceling my bundle and moving to another company as soon as I can.
Just don't go to Rogers, your life will be a little easier.

Visa card signup offers - False advertising!!
Hello Rogers customers,
I wanted to ask the community whether anyone else has had similar issues with Rogers failing to honour a $500 Visa giftcard attached with their bundle deals.
Last year in late June I signed up for their premium 1GB wifi/premium 100+ channel TV/home phone package which at the time had a $500 Visa giftcard attached as a bonus signup offer. I probably would not have signed up for the most expensive package without the promise of the $500 Visa giftcard. I also have 2 wireless phones with Rogers.. I have contacted Rogers several times about the Visa giftcard and was told that:
Today I tried once more to find out what had happened with the "promised" giftcard to be told:
Thank you for your patience, Now I have tried applying the offer now the issue is that it this code causes the price plan to increase. Therefore it would be more beneficial to keep the existing discounts you have now as you would save more in the long run. The discount code would have also needed to be applied upon activation however your price plan would have been much higher if it was applied to the account.
So it seems I won't be getting the Visa giftcard that was attached for signing up with the premium package. Has anyone else had a similar problem with Rogers? What they have done is probably illegal.
If nothing else I hope this serves as a precaution for people considering signing up to an expensive package with Rogers with the promise of a Visa giftcard..

Good evening & Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums @Shotguneagle!
As a consumer nothing upsets me more than an undelivered promise. You're well past the expected 60 or 120 days wait time. Please send us a private message @CommunityHelps so we can action this request for you.
If you're not familiar with how to PM, please see this post.

I signed up for a bundle in Apr 2017 and was promised a $200 prepaid visa and told it could take up to 60 business days to receive. After waiting that amount of time, I called and was told that it could take up to 6 months to receive, I then waited the 6 months, when I called at 6 month they told me it could take up to a year. Well I called at the year mark and they told me they would credit my account for the $200, I thought great at least it is taken care of.
Well a month after that I see that my account is still not credited and once again call back, they tell me that they will then credit my account again. Another month goes by and I still don't have my money; here we are 14 months later and I once again call and they told me they denied the credit to my account because it has been over a year since that card was promised and there is nothing they can do about it.
I spoke with a manger today and she said that when we signed up for service there was no promotion going on; I said that is why we signed up and the only reason we waited a year was because their people told us to. So I am still without the prepaid visa 14 months after I was promised it. She basically said that the Rogers guy lied to me when I signed up for service and got suckered into changing to them. Well, I guess it worked because they had me for 14 months.
