I sort of view this as I do game consoles.
You can buy the base model or a deluxe with a game and extra accessories but in the end, you're still paying more for those extras.
With each extra that's packed in, the price goes up. Personally, I've come to like having a reduced price that gives me the option to choose my own accessories.
Give it a little time and you'll see all sorts of more affordable third party options, it's still early in the game yet! Besides, I'm sure most people are more excited for wireless charging than fast charging! I was just looking at potentially buying a new car and saw that many come with wireless charging built in. That's pretty cool.
In time, wireless charging will become as ubiquitous as WiFi and a charging cable will become like the Ethernet cable.
Has there been any indication of what the pricing from Rogers will be?
Thanks so much!! Really appreciated all your hard work! It's been a couple years since I've posted here but you were super helping getting my iPhone 6 ages ago!
I think I'm going with the Apple iPhone 8 Plus 64GB @ $359.99.
Does anyone know if Rogers will let you pay for this upfront on your major credit card instead of it appearing on your monthly bill? The reason why I ask, is instead of paying $169+ for Apple care, I would have an additional year of warranty added from my credit card provider.
