A number of pages back a poster said credit had to be given when due.

 

Rogers gets none from me.

 

I was #46 on 9/12 (consumer 6+ 128 gb sg) and #8 on 9/15.

 

I went to "in progress" from open on 9/25.

 

After trying to phone my Rogers store for 2 weeks, I drove there (25 km) on +/- 10/1.

 

I was told the phone was not there.

 

They had no system to check.

 

Had to eyeball each box.

 

I left my number to ensure that they had the right one to call.

 

By 10/10, still nothing.

 

Rogers Help could do nothing and could not even reach the store----still not answering phone.

 

Visited store again (another 25 km drive) on 10/10.

 

My phone was there.

 

They could not tell me when it arrived.

 

One of the clerks (the one that I had spoken to the week before) said the writing on the box was hers.

 

She had previously advised me that the store holds the phone for 14 days.

 

That means that mine was there since 10/2!!!!!!!!

 

No texts from Rogers, no emails from Rogers and my status still shows as "in progress"!!!!!!!!

 

So......I suggest that, if you have a low number, you contact your pick up store.

 

I cannot imagine how angry I would have been if I found out that my phone had been returned or sold to a walk in.

 

So.....Meowmix you can blame Apple all that you want for supply issues but this has been an EPIC ROGERS FAIL!!!!

Oh, and another thing.

 

After having Rogers waste far too much of my valuable time, I decided that I would buy the phone outright and stick with my current plan and never sign another contract with Rogers.

 

After I activated I received an email from Rogers about my new plan----which was never discussed at the time of activation and which I never agreed to.

 

So, keep your head up for that one too.

The store rep said they hold them for 14 days that does not mean they had your phone on 10/2 cause you got it on 10/10 they could have got it on 10/9 the 14 days is not how long they hold the phone before giving it to a customer it is they will hold it up to 14 days after receiving it and notifying you, giving you 14 days to pick it up,

Any one seeing movement on the iPhone 6+ 64gb gold reserved sept 14 still siting above 700, no movement for a week now.

I agree it has been a epic fail from Rogers not notifying their customers. I noticed on the Fido forums that a Fido rep posted that you may not even get a email or text saying it's been shipped. U will just get a phone call from the store. This launch from Rogers has been a bad one. Why? No proper communication. They failed to communicate and send out the proper information on when it truly shipped out. The Rogers Reservation FAQ states the stores holds it for 7 days but now it's 14 days? Makes nonsense.

No, they received it on 10/3.

 

I realized that I still have the box and checked the UPS tracking on it after sending my previous message.

 

Inexcusably poor customer service from start to finish.

 

Sorry, that is not true.

 

I took the phone to a Rogers authorized dealer to have it activated.

 

They (not Rogers' employees) were great

Just checked with Rogers live chat about the status of my reservation. It went from 116 in line yesterday to finalization today. What does this mean and when can I expect my iPhone??

Hello demanveen

When it says finazation it means they are just packing it up and ready to ship it out. It should ship out tonight or Friday including tomorrow.
