No one said u are dumb just pointing out out the truth as i don't want u to do that and then lose the phone or service at the store. Again seen it happen and it's not good.

Just because I got it the first day and not having complaints about waiting doesn't make me better or anything remember that. I was in ur position with the 4S waited for 3 weeks to get it. My sisters iPhone 5 came almost 5 weeks later and i got it for her birthday. So i do feel everyone's pain on waiting. Also i wasn't the only one to get it the day after launch. Most of the 16Gb and 128GB went out that week. I was just lucky I got #11 For that model. It all depends on what devices Rogers got from Apple and Rogers not communicating properly with their customers.

If you have a tracking number contact UPS and see what's going on. Once its in UPS hands, Rogers doesn't deal with it. Something could be wrong with UPS or they are late.

Once you go IN PROGRESS you don't have a position anymore. The number u had will go to the person above u or to someone else which has a OPEN status.

Hi all!

 

Just an update:

iPhone 6 128 GB gold, consumer.

 

Went "in progress" on Thursday.  No text.  No email.

 

Store just called and my phone is in!!

 

Hang in there everyone, seems like this "in progress" is real progress!

Hmm i would say wait until 5-6 and see what happens. Sometimes they are late i know that. UPS at times isnt on time like they should be.

Believe me, I am just as angry as anyone on this board right now.

 

However, no way am I going to take it out on whoever sets up my phone for me (if, and when, I ever get it).

 

I spent a bit of time at a Rogers store last month when I lost my 5.

 

The young ladies who assisted me could not have been more pleasant, even though they were not able to resolve my issues (like why you cannot actually buy a Rogers phone at a Rogers store, or, why a Fido phone does not work with a Rogers SIM card even though Fido is owned by Rogers).

 

I watched them deal with people who did not even know how to dial a phone.

 

I also heard them take heat from a couple of very nasty people because the Rogers system was down.

 

Clearly not their fault.....but they kept smiling and helped the next person in line.

 

The blame resides way higher up the food chain

Just got the call from Rogers that my 6+ 64 SG is in.

 

Just so you know:

 

Went in progress last Thursday.

 

Got text message from Rogers yesterday.

 

Did not receive shipment email.

 

Status did not change to Shipped on Reservation link.

 

Someone is going to get an earful today regarding:

 

-Reservation process (5 am vs 3 am)

-Lack of communication

-Customer service in general

 

Good luck to the rest of you. It's been a slice.
