Just curios if anyone has had there position in line move to shipped? i was positioned at 189 and i moved to 59 a couple hours ago, so i assume 130 have already been shipped! if they keep shipping at this rate then i should have my phone at launch! this is my first pre order from rogers, ive been a rogers customer for 19 years! i was an inch away from moving to telus just so i can get the apple watch - till rogers gave me a loyalty plan i couldn't refuse so i decided to wait it out and good thing i did!

I agree with you. It can be frustrating at times. This is why I have a short leash with front line chat and phone reps. If I get the slightest sense of incompetence, I ask to be transferred to retentions. In my experience, retentions and most of the technical team is pretty competent. With that being said I have encountered some very good front line reps but I’ve also encountered my fair share of poor ones.

And typically the Rogers employees on these forums are very competent and willing to help which is good.

At the store level it gets a bit dicey which is why I honestly try to avoid the retail locations. I’m sure there are plenty good in store experiences as well....I just haven’t had much luck. I don’t know...I guess if you’re paying someone $60-70k plus to care they’ll care a lot more/strive to be a lot more competent than if they’re making much less. Same with all retail/front line customer facing roles. Sorry I’ve gone off on a tangent lol

Look on the bright side, you’ll be an Apple Watch activation specialist when your ordeal is over LOL

Dropped only one spot since last Thursday on 44mm silver.

Anyone moving up faster??

Re: Apple Watch Series 4 Pre Order/Reservation

I’m still position 11 which I’ve been for almost 2 weeks now on the 44mm silver

I bumped 1 position to get to 66 for the 44mm space grey. Seems someone lost their patience and bailed out. I don't blame them. It definitely seems to be a long wait. Someone on the forum said that the stock would be back on Nov 14, I hope it doesn't take that much time.

I am losing hope and patience. I really do hope they aren’t looking at November for a restock date. I feel like all of us are owed an explanation. We took the time to preorder as opposed to buying outright and we get nothing but misinformation and not a single explanation. I’m at the point where I’m beginning to question if I really and truly want the watch.
I checked my nearest Apple store and I could spend the money and go get it right away but to have it delivered was the middle of November.
I just feel like if there was an explanation maybe a lot of us wouldn’t be so upset and frustrated.

Just checked silver 44mm and almost all the apple stores in the gta have them in stock.

this was not the case last night so maybe there is some hope!

I feel so bad for everyone that is still waiting! I cancelled all my families pre orders a week or so ago. I’ve been loyal to Rogers for over 10 years and all people want is updates and the truth. If it’s a supply issues tell us, if it’s something you CAN control but something messed up just tell us!

Everyday I called stores & reps on the phone and got mixed answers, not good from a large business like Rogers.

Ended up buying 2 AW S4 out right at Apple, they had plenty. Now 2 less things to owe Rogers money for so it’ll be a bit easier to leave one day. I get FULL bars with freedom mobile LTE in my house and 1-2 W/Rogers lol.

I've been here awhile

So you're using your Apple Watch on LTE with Freedom Mobile?

Anybody see this promo on the rogers site? Maybe this is their indirect way of making up for the wait..

I was looking at the activation thread this morning and it seems that a lot of people are still having issues with activation and error codes. Would it be safe to assume that there is a possibility they are limiting the number of watches shipped on preorder based on this. I haven’t heard of other carriers having similar problems and from my understanding, Those who purchase outright from Apple are having better success with activation on the Rogers network. There are some people who are still having issues even when purchasing outright and the problem seems to be the Rogers network and connection issues.

@Aspect22  I can't see your link

Is it the upgrade to an iPhone 8 or newer and an Apple watch and get a $250 bill credit you're referring to?

Hello @nasa25

Most likely this. What your saying!.

" In-store only: Activate or upgrade to an iPhone 7 or higher on a 2-year Share Everything plan1 and get $250 off when you bundle it with an Apple Watch or iPad (6th Generation).2

Plus, you get 2 GB data bonus with your iPhone activation3 and 1 GB data bonus with your iPad or AppleWatch"

" $250 discount available with activation of iPhone 7,, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, X or newer on a 2- year Share Everything plan with an iPad 32GB or 128GB (6th Generation) when purchased via Easy Pay or on no-term and activated as a new additional line for $10/month on a Share Everything plan.

$250 discount available with purchase of Apple Watch Series 3 or 4 with activation of iPhone 7 or newer on a 2-year Share Everything plan. Discount is applied to customer’s account as a one time bill credit within the next 2-3 billing cycles. Once you activate your smartwatch service, it will be free of monthly service fees for the first 3 months, after which time service will automatically be billed at the current rate. Regular monthly service fees (currently, $10/month per user) plus applicable taxes will apply after initial period, unless cancelled earlier."

It says " or newer" but doesn't specify any of the Xs or Xs Max models. Either way if anyone did activate it before this promotion I don't think it will let them get thag $250. Rogers is known for this.

Re: Apple Watch Series 4 Pre Order/Reservation

I'm here a lot
After spending an hour on the phone the answer I got was they are on backorder, and Rogers doesn’t have a estimated time frame as to when they will be in!! Very unprofessional on Rogers part. The best offer they had was to buy it outright from the Apple store and then when I’m ready I can add it to my plan...... the reason I preorder was to have it on release (3weeks on Rogers preorder ad) not to be waiting weeks or months with no answers.

@Jdtc what number are you on the waiting list and how long have you been waiting?

I have dropped 2 spots in 7 days, thats just nuts. I wish i had the extra cash to buy it outright but the monthly payment option is so nice
