Yeah... kinda my case actually,
So... just hung up from the phone with the Business rep. She told me that even though the reservation is not visible anywhere, they have a proof of reservation somewhere. So when it ships, I should get a confirmation email and my backup reservation will get automatically cancelled.
Now, let's see if that's true.

My status is still open, dropped from somewhere in the mid-240s to 172 for an iPhone 7Plus 128 GB in Jet Black.
