Using Rogers apps on a previously rooted tablet

I experimented with rooting my Asus tablet when I first bought it but have since undone the rooting & restored it to factory setting without any issues.  When I attempted to use the Rogers Anyplace TV home edition app to view live TV, however,  I received the message that I couldn't do this on a rooted or jail-broken device.  What is the problem & can it be resolved?

Hello @hjjoachim,

Rooted devices are not supported as they void all software agreement when modifying the software in any way.

A post in our archives talked about this: Here.

Hello @hjjoachim

Unfortunately the apps do not work for rooted device. All carrier apps are only work for devices that are locked to Rogers and unlocked device that have not been rooted.
