Well well suprise suprise, I guess it was a good idea to have preordered from samsung store too.
Called my store today and was told that I could pick up my S8 black tomorrow. I'm guessing it's because of all of this shenanigans with the system. Regardless, I cancelled it as I reserved the Plus black instead under my second line. I'm still at an open queue at #211. To be honest, I'm in no rush as I won't even open it yet anyway as I'm waiting for my cases to come.
So since I cancelled the S8, how do I get my fee back again? Will Rogers know automatically that I didn't pick it up and that I cancelled it?
Tempted also but too invested in Samsung already with an S7, Gear S3 and Gear VR.
And frankly it's still a much better phone than the G6.
Just gonna have to suck it up unfortunately.
they will automatically credit it on your next bill and if the phone is at the store, then its already been done. You should have received an email concerning this as well ( i did, once the device shipped)
