Unfortunately u can't check the progress like we can as we did a reservation which shows that. You will have to wait until they email a shipment email letting u know it's been shipped. It might be next week.

I usually just have the protection plan Rogers has. I know its a bit more more for a $1100 device, it's worth it for me.

EDIT - I looked into it. There is a $99 US deductible fee and also the Samsung Galaxy Premium Care will set you back $11.99 per month..

So it's the same thing paying for the Rogers protection program for the same price other then paying $100 more with Rogers for the deductible

After reading nearly this entire thread, I just have a simple question:

Can I take advantage of this preorder, get the bonuses, have it shipped to a store for pickup, and then get trade in value on my current s6?

I have about $40 left on this device's account.

The pre order bonus is done by Samsung Canada. If u read the whole thread, u would have seen the link I posted in order to follow the steps to get the pre order bonus.

You reserve the device with Rogers, pick a store and once the device has been shipped to the store, u can do the upgrade and do the trade in value for the S6. That all can be done in store upon upgrading

Quick Question, 

One of the perks of pre-ordering is also a 6 months Netflix credit.

I ordered two phones, can I use both credits on one account or should I just give one away?

I believe you can use both credits on your Netflix account. Best thing to do is try it when the codes get sent to u.

Status: IN PROGRESS
Like, what stage is this? Is this the same status as the time we reserve the phone or it has changed to become "IN PROGRESS" ?

If you read my first post on page one u would have seen what it was for.

IN PROGRESS means they have the device in the warehouse and getting it ready to ship out to the store. This can take 1-3 business days to ship out.
