I have been having the same issue sporadically.

Calls going straight to vm, and texts coming in approx an hour late.

Wanted to know if you had this issue before of after the 5.1.1 update on Sept 3rd?

Settings >mobile network >network mode
Pick one without LTE

Curious why you can't just diable VoLTE? There is an option to disable it under the phone settings.

Tried but dosn't fix the problem. There are still instances where the call doesn't got thru.
