Benbar21 is correct. If the unit goes to "in progress" that is perfectly fine. Once the unit is "shipped" they refund the deposit. If you don't pickup the phone at Rogers (please be kind and tell them you don't want it, so they can resell it to someone else) you won't get charged for it.

Rogers on Davie/jervis in Vancouver only had one black one in stock. Most likely gone by now

Phone is wicked, but I'm curious.

The Rogers rep said my new phone would have the same phone number and everything, but right now it is not able to make calls or anything. 

It was not a simple SIM switch, he had to put a new SIM on it. WIll the phone eventually switch over?
