I am doing the same.. I am holding onto the Note 7 until my iPhone 7 Plus comes in. I am hoping the can expedited the order when I talk to them tomorrow

What if the store where a buy my note 7 doesnt exist anymore the name change for planete mobile

The best thing to do at this post is to call Rogers and speak to them directly. Explain that and see what they say

Not yet. Most likely something that is only done when they call in or do the exchange in store. I would call in, ask them and tell them to write it in a note. Getting the ID number and ur set. That's what I did

Went to the Rogers store for nothing! They have no instructions as far as the exchange goes. He said he had a loaner but would. Other take my phone. Smh... I guess my note 7 gets an extension. I refuse to use my iPhone 7 while I still have the note 7.

Yep, Retail knows nothing right now until it's all sorted out so they don't get confused most likely. It was the same thing when the replacement notice went out.

 

Just curious, anyone else get quoted the $150 credit?

Mississauga, ON - October 11, 2016 - Samsung Electronics Canada Inc. has confirmed that with consumers' safety as a priority, Samsung has stopped sales, exchanges and production of the Galaxy Note7 globally. Canadian consumers with either an original Galaxy Note7 or replacement Galaxy Note7 device should power down and stop using the device.

"The team has been consistent in our resolve in putting consumers first and worked as quickly as possible," said Paul Brannen, COO & EVP, Mobile and Enterprise Solutions. "We are committed to working closely with our carrier and retail partners to make this as easy as possible for consumers. We appreciate the support we've received over the past few weeks."

Beginning Thursday, October 13th, Samsung Note7 owners can bring their device to the original Samsung or authorized reseller point of purchase, to:
• Exchange towards a Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge device.
• Receive a refund for the Note7 device and Note7 specific accessories.

For customers who purchased their Samsung Note7 on Samsung.com, a device refund will be offered upon return receipt of the recalled devices. Samsung Canada will email our online customers from Thursday, October 13th to provide them with details regarding the return process.

For Note7 return inquiries, Canadian customers should contact 1-855-747-6520.

so i get a S7E and a refund when i exchange my Note 7? That would maybe make up for the BS this has caused so far...
