Ok so I ended up calling technical support and it turns out the Rogers One number subscription was conflicting with my phone and preventing me from making and receiving calls. Since I have never used it, the subcription was cancelled and now i can make and receive calls.

Sorry to hear you had some issues.. happier that they seem to of been resolved for you... Not really sure what "refresh line" is?
However, its not re-assuring but a carrier can not give 100% guarantee of serv 100% of time. Unfortunately unexpected/and unforeseen issues can arise preventing services... I know there is nothing that can be done to give back what was lost/missed.. But things like this happen with Rogers along with all other companies.... If i'm not mistaken this is even written in service terms and conditions...
If you call and let them know about the 3 days of no service maybe a form of a credit can be applied by customer service team....
Glad to hear you had a positive experience with the tech support agent 🙂

Hi @TANK07,
Thank you for your post and Welcome to the Community Forums!
I can imagine the frustration of not being able to make or receive calls. What happens when you try calling out and what are callers hearing on their end when they try to call you? When was the last time it worked and what has changed since then? What have you tried so far? To start with I would suggest pulling the battery and / or re-seating the SIM card. Once you've powered up the device, place it into airplane mode for a few seconds then test.
Hope this helps,
RogersArthur

When I attempt to make a call, it will immediately drop the call ( it doesnt even ring once). when somebody tires to call me they get the busy tone or no tone at all. My phone was working fine on Sept. 28. I realised this problem was occuring when friends and famliy members started to complain via text on the night of the 30th. I've restarted it several times , pulled the battery as well to no avail.
I tried your reccomendation as well, it didnt work either.

Thank you for the update.
I just have a few more questions for you.
Do you notice this is only happening in a certain location?
Have you tried switching the SIM card?
Have you noticed any interruption in data ?
Regards,

I havent switched SIM cards, but i did remove it and put it back in, which didnt work as well.

I understand, do you know if other in your area are having the same issue?
At this time, I would suggest swapping the SIM card for a new one.
You can get a new SIM card at your Local Rogers store.
If Swapping the SIM card dose not work we will need to investigate further.

Hi - we have 2 S7's and on Friday we were suddenly unable to call out, receive calls, send text or receive text. Some of the steps and results are below.
1. Re-Start - fixed the challenge temporarily i.e. about an hour
2. Remove and re-insert SIM card - no effect
3. Factory re-set - works temporarily
There have been no changes in apps, device settings etc. Network strength is excellent.
Was there a software update recently?
thx
Carl

Hello @cweatherell
Have you called Rogers to see maybe they need to clear the network settings on their end and make sure all is well?
Have you contacted Samsung Canada to see if they have any other helpful information?

Thank you for your posts and Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums! 😃
Not being able to make or receive calls is a major concern, I know how important it is to stay connected at all times.
Can you describe what troubleshooting steps you have tried thus far? Have you tried to power cycle the phone by pressing Volume Down and Power at the same time until the manufacturer's logo appears? Or have you attempted a Network Reset in the settings of your device?
Keep us posted!
