That was on a promotion. It ended in most stores already but Rogers most likely did offer that price just when u called it.

Anyone know if Google security updates are direcxt or have to go through Rogers first? I would hope since the Nexus 6p is a "pure" google device, it could get updates directly from google and not have to waste time with Rogers.

This is a deal breaker for me.. id honestly rather pay full price unlocked than get a subsidized phone and be at Rogers mercy for importanty security updates.

Got the phone on a smart tab. I agree amazing phone.. and slippery. I ordered a Spigen Ultra hybrid clear case from Amazon..but it wont get here until Friday. 😉

Oh and confirmed about the OS updates... got the 6.0.1 as soon as I set up my phone.
