Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X on Rogers?

Are we getting these on Rogers? Wanted to use my upgrade but it seems Google has decided to sell them only on Google Store. Any information here from experts?

yep they have really messed this launch up. but whats worse is the lack of communication. just 1 email a week letting us know what position were in? how about why its been delayed an additional 2 weeks for us or why people are getting them who just walk in to a rogers store. its a joke how they have treated their customers here. I just dont understand it 😞

I just got off the phone with a business rep who told me that it could be shipped in 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 months. They have no idea when they will get them nor when they will ship them.

@iteatsme it took me about 10 days to get phone I placed my order on November 3rd and it got to.me on the 13th and Google store has also lowered there shipping times so it should only take 2 weeks max and you can always go in store and pick up the device and just cancel the online order that's what I did for my dad's LG G4

@TJ4 Are you a business customer? The business rep told me I could not go in store since they can't pull-up those accunts.

I should get another email tomorrow with a status update.. my guess is it will still be at 32 of 88.

@iteatsme yes I am a business customer the reps on the phone don't know what they are talking about Rogers stores can pull up the business accounts they just don't want stores inventory to get all mixed up you can call into a store and see if they have the device and go pick it up

I'm a corporate customer and my status was updated to in progress (activation) yesterday and today it says in progress (finalization).

I'm hoping this means it will ship tonight.

Business customer here and frustrated as well. Ordered on Oct 16 and was 17 in line at the time. Moved to 12 due to the cancellations. Ask their reps a few times and they can't provide a dime of info. Walked passed the Rogers and ask if they have stock and they do. This is my first time ever reserving a phone with Rogers and will probably never try this again (in the past I've always gotten phones that have been out for a while).

They must treat new lines differently than upgrades, because I got impatient with the "reservation" system, and just called a business care specialist on the 16th, ordered my new line, told her I wanted the 6P, got an email confirming my order was out of stock but would ship when available. The 18th it shipped, got it yesterday afternoon and have been enjoying it ever since. If you're near the end if your contract or past it, I'd suggest just ordering this device as a new line, and cancelling your old one once it arrives. Plus if you're on a share everything plan, you're eligible for a bill credit of up to $300, which makes the device pretty much free if you're willing to sign a new 2yr contract.

That was on a promotion. It ended in most stores already but Rogers most likely did offer that price just when u called it.

Anyone know if Google security updates are direcxt or have to go through Rogers first? I would hope since the Nexus 6p is a "pure" google device, it could get updates directly from google and not have to waste time with Rogers.

This is a deal breaker for me.. id honestly rather pay full price unlocked than get a subsidized phone and be at Rogers mercy for importanty security updates.
