Re: Current APN Settings for MMS

Please let me know if this fixes it

Thanks for replying back - But unfortunately it didn't fix the problem 😞

Not only did that setting not fix the MMS issue, it also stopped 4G LTE from working.  I had to change it back to the former APN to get LTE back.

Here are the screencaps -

Re: Current APN Settings for MMS

Just wanted to bump this?  It's been nearly three months, and I still don't have MMS working on my Galaxy S5.  I'd love a fix.  Here are my settings -

Re: Current APN Settings for MMS

Hello

My apologies that you have not received a response in your last post. I know how important it is to get the full functionality out of your device. The settings I am seeing on my end appear to be different than what you are using. Can you please try these settings below?

APN: ltemobile.apn

Username: Not required
Password: Not required

Please use input:

Server: 172.25.0.107
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: 10.128.1.69
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 72 (If that doesn't work try 720, it's already filled in, leave it at what it is)
APN Type: Internet + MMS

Can you also confirm what Android OS you are running?

Regards,

Thanks Tony.  I tried those settings, but sadly no luck.  In fact, things got even worse with those settings as I lost 4G LTE and internet connectivity altogether.

...so I reverted back to the old settings.

It's really frustrating as it feels like there's just one little think I must have set wrong.

Re: Current APN Settings for MMS

Hello again @Sherman1967,

Thanks for your reply!

I understand how frustrating it must be to not be able to view picture and video messages you receive on your device.

I went through the APN Settings once more and would like to try something with you.

Instead of 10.128.1.69, could you input the following in MMS Proxy/Multimedia Message Proxy: mmsproxy.rogers.com?

I am hoping this modification will resolve the issue you are experiencing once and for all.

Looking forward to your reply!

Doesn't work on my phone. I called Rogers twice and they gave me the same info without success.

Re: Current APN Settings for MMS

Hello, @stewpot61

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums! Smiley Happy

Thank you for posting your concern in the Community. I use the MMS feature quite often myself so I know it's upsetting when it's not working. When it comes to non-Rogers' devices other than providing the settings we don't have the option to troubleshoot the issue. Perhaps you can provide more details about your phone and the OS version so that the Community can chime in with ideas to resolve the issue.

After inputting the MMS settings, have you tried sending an MMS to yourself? When it's failing what's the error message are you getting?

Cheers,

RogersMoin

Re: Current APN Settings for MMS

SMS Attachments failing on unlocked S8+    Are there MMS settings that work?

I have received a S8+... as a gift. Somebody used there Airmiles for me.

It is unlocked. I have tried virtually every MMS combination I could find online for Rogers. No luck.

Has anybody else figured it out?
