Re: Voicemail Prompt Levels: Help article not accurate

Good day @ryyanbuii,

Welcome to the Rogers Community! We certainly want to help you shed some light on this.

The Extended Prompt is a message that you record, advising callers trying to contact, you that you will not be available to access your voicemail.

The instructions should be the following:

  1. Call your voicemail by calling your number from a landline.
    • You will hear your current voicemail greeting.
  2. Press the # key at the beginning of the recording to interrupt it.
    • You will then be prompted to enter your voicemail passcode and will be brought to the voicemail’s main menu.
  3. From the Main menu, you should select Personal Options by pressing 4.
  4. From the Personal Option menu, select Establish Greeting or Name by pressing 3.
  5. From the Establish Greeting or Name  menu, select Extended Prompt  by pressing 2.
    • The Extended Prompt allows you to record an additional recording for the intent of being temporary. Eg. Vacation notification.

I submitted the feedback in order to have the support article updated accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
