I am livid! After 25 years of being with Rogers, just now on Mar 29th 2024 you start reporting to the credit agency about my account? Why? Secondly my opening account date is wrong, thirdly the amounting owing is wrong and fourthly if you’re going to start reporting at least get it straight and right. God only knows what kind of future errors you may make and report that will affect my credit score! Why on earth after 25 years would u just start reporting now?!?! I want to speak with someone immediately!

@Jersey5491 you need to send the moderators on the forum a message to determine what caused the credit agency report from Rogers. I suspect that you might be referred to the Fraud Dept, maybe not .... In any event, if you're handed over to any other group within Rogers to pursue this, it will probably take 10 days or more to see any response.
@CommunityHelps is the group address for the moderators here on the Rogers Forum. When you're logged into the forum, follow this link to the @CommunityHelps. On that page will be a link on the right hand side to Send a Message. Follow that link to the message composition page. The address will fill in automatically. Fill in the subject and details, including your account number and when the message is complete, hit Send Message at the bottom.
When you're logged into the forum, look for a number overlaying the envelope symbol at the upper right hand corner. That will indicate that there's an inbound message for you. Follow that envelope symbol as it serves as a link to the message inbox and outbox. From the response in the inbox you can then message back and forth as required. There will be an authentication procedure that you will have to complete in order to service any change requests for your account.
To send anyone else on the forum a message, including @CommunityHelps, hover your mouse over their user name and a popup will appear with a link to send a Private Message. Follow that Private Message link to the message composition page and as before the message addressee will fill in automatically. Fill in the subject and details and hit Send Message when you're ready to send the message.
In the mean time, while you're communicating with staff at Rogers, call the credit agency, demand a retraction of the derogatory report and restoration of your credit rating. Force the credit agency to do their own investigation, which should force Rogers to provide additional details to the credit agency to substantiate their report. That alone might be sufficient to restore your credit rating and retract the report. Don't wait for Rogers to finally attend to this. Keep in mind, the credit agencies are not your friend. As a result, consumers have to be diligent and challenge any and all details on their credit report, demanding a retraction where applicable. Don't be upset or cross with the credit agency rep as the process appears to be very automated, reacting to reports that are sent in by various companies that you might transact with. So, if and when necessary, consumers have to get a real human from the credit agencies involved to straighten out the mess created by the reporting companies.

Keep in mind that the Resident Experts do not work for Rogers in any fashion. We're here as volunteers in the forum to help other customers wherever possible.
So, for now, keep cool .... Contact the credit agency and demand a retraction of the report. Force the credit agency to address your concerns.
