Fraud Department does not exist at Rogers!

Hi,

I ported my number from Fido to Rogers over the weekend, and what should have been a seamless process has turned into an absolute nightmare. My account was canceled within minutes without any warning, notification, or explanation. I had to chase down customer support myself, only to be told that it was due to a so-called "fraud alert".

I was provided the following numbers, none of which have been even remotely useful:

  • Fraud Department: +1 888 383 2080 ext. 8742 – I have called hundreds of times, and it goes straight to voicemail. I cannot even leave a callback number because Rogers locked my number, leaving me completely stranded.

  • Product Management: +1 888 381 8076 – Requires an extension that was not provided, and even if I could reach someone, this is not the right department.

  • Validation Team: 1-800-588-6718 – They answered but confirmed that only the Fraud Department can assist, which I cannot reach at all.

This has been the WORST onboarding experience I have ever had with a mobile provider. Not only was my account canceled without warning, but I am now completely locked out of my number. I cannot even return to Fido, leaving me without any service or resolution.

 

Has anyone gone through the same issue? Please, anything you can share would be very appreciated.
