Field agent fraud

I was promised a different deal by the Field agent while taking the connection. The agent had promised 1000 minutes of international calls to some countries including usa and after I made the call I was charged for it. After repeated attempts to solve the issue and get adjusted nothing happened. Apparently the agent hasn’t documented anything. I am collecting interest on the non payment. It’s a large sum and I don’t understand how can a reputed company like Rogers allow their agents to do such fraudulent activities.

I was enticed by an Ottawa Field Sales to get Rogers service. I was enticed by the sweet deals and spin me off regarding the cancellation.  The sweet talk of the Field Agent that I can cancel anytime after 6 months of service and also putting it on suspension for 6 months will do the trick of getting out of agreement. I admit it that they con me into it.  His name is Arsene and my Interaction ID is I223 0838014.  It was May 29, 2024 and if I don't like the service  I can put it on suspend for 6 months and I can cancel anytime.  It took me 5 months before I put it in suspension for 6 months then when I am about to cancel it, I was informed that I still have to pay an amount till I May 2026. This is what the Rogers Field Agent did to me.  He CON me.  ROGERS are really bad and to think that this company is good to their customers well it is not as well as their service.  I am really disappointed.  I ended up putting my service into suspension till May 2026 to only pay the lower amount than cancelling it.

Hello Corey,
Yes I had been contacted by a representative and the issue was sorted out to the best of their capabilities. They could not add usa among the international countries where I can call but they adjusted the amount.
