Door to door agent lied to me and locked me into 24 month contract. Only found out when im calling to cancel my internet service. Apparently the sales person said there is no contract but with 24 month of promotion, so i signed without reading it. And now it cost me $300 to cancel. Would never use any Rogers again!!! Beware of what they send to you!

We should have some awareness campaign or notices about being cautious from door to door solicitations. There are always the risk of people misrepresenting a company or misleading customers by not telling them the truth.
Rogers does keep track of who conducted the sale, so it should be very easy to call and request to speak to a supervisor and lodge a complaint against the initial sales agent for misrepresenting the service to you. The more often someone complaints about this behaviour, the more discipline the sales agent will receive and they will learn their lesson not to do this again.
