Will my 10 year old son know if I turn on copy text and have a copy of his messages sent to my phone? Will his phone notify him?

Hello @MichaelSeflen,
Welcome to the Community Forums!
These days, I can definitely understand the need to monitor your childrens text messaging activity. I believe you're referencing the "Extreme Texting" feature.
To be honest, I've never used this feature myself, but after testing it out with my colleagues, I can confirm there wouldn't be a notification sent to your sons phone.
Hope this helps! Enjoy the long weekend :)!

@MichaelSeflenAs a regular user, I can also confirm that Extreme texting is as such, No notification will be sent to the phone -- I use it for text backup.
Their are a few things Extreme texting will NOT do --
First, it will not copy MMS - picture and video texts
Second, it will not copy iMessages (iPhone) so you'll need to disable iMessage if on iPhone
and
Thirdly, if you have a newer Android phone using Android Messenger, if you have Enhanced Messaging (RCS Messaging) enabled in the app settings, it will not copy either, would have to disable Enhanced messaging.
Rogers and Fido Extreme texting service is great, hope it doesn't disappear/discontinue anytime soon.

Hello @Rod1995
You can do that via the My Rogers app - Extreme Texting - Forward text messages. You can have them emailed to u, text u as well. The person with the other line won't know this though unless u let then known or see it enabled on the app.
