Collections/rogers won't clear

Hi All;
During my separation I had a very serious illness. Long story short my account went to collections. I spoke to collections and arranged to make a payment to clear the debt and was told there was a wifi modem outstanding. My ex had it and it was returned promptly. I sent collections the transaction # on the receipt as well as a scanned copy. This was almost 4 months ago. I need to have both IQOR and rogers clear my account for obvious reasons and set up a new account for both myself and my daughter. Rogers says its IQOR's issue, IQOR says its rogers' issue. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Thank you in advance.

I closed an account two years ago everything was sorted out then I get a notice from collection for money owed even though I had preauthorized payment! Rogers rep told me account is clear and notice was send to collection. Now two years later I did a credit check my report shows Rogers was still owed and along with a note about bankruptcy?! I contacted the collection agency and they said they made an error but after a week still shows up on my report.

Charge off declaration

 

I have paid my overdue Rogers accounts about 9 months ago. But on me credit history it still shows up like this 

In Collections/Charge-off 
Last payment date May 1, 2016 
Monthly payment $0 
Amount past due $0 
Worst payment status In Collections/Charge-off 
if you can change the worst payment status I will be grateful.

Unfortunately once the account has been handed over to collections, Rogers hands are tied and they can no longer do anything with the account. Rogers can't change the status on it either. I do believe it stays on ur record for a couple of years or when it's been cleared off by the collections / credit bureau. I would contact the credit bureau u are with and see what they can do but I am afraid not much can happen.

Hi there,

I have closed my account in 2014 and had a period of dealing with collections as well. Nontheless, all was paid and closed in 2014 and just recently I have applied for a credit and lender told me to pay my Rogers account first? I was shocked ofcourse. Apparently my Rogers account has been showing owing money for the last 3 odd years.
I still do have my rogers account number and amount that was paid in full.
I have tried to contact the collection agency but they said they don't have nothing to do with this anymore that I have to contact the original credit lender which was Rogers.
Can someone please help me and/or direct me to the right path.

So I just got off phone calls with Rogers Communications, CRM (A collection agency) and Trans-Union.

 

All three are pointing the finger at each other about who is responsible for clearing off my credit report that's been at a ZERO balance for OVER TWO YEARS; but is still listed as OPEN and considered 'derogatory'.

 

Two years that my credit score has been impacted by this lack of care. And I'm still no closer to a solution after speaking with representatives on the phone from all three companies.

 

My frustration is turning to anger at this point.
