I was at a Rogers in Calgary and they had a few in stock. I was able to hold the phone and it felt really nice and I definitely could live with the black model.  They still didn't have a display up yet though.  Best Buy should also be getting the phone pretty soon as well.

I don't know about the rest of you but I've been super patient with Canadian carriers when it comes to Windows Phone. How hard is it for Rogers to put a test unit on display in the stores? This is Canada so I guess we won't get any kind of launch party but to not even have demo units is, I hate to say it, typical of Windows phone advertising in Canada.

Actually Rogers does have phones up on display. They put them up on display a few days after they get them. Remember they are not allowed to open a box with a phone that they are supposed to sell. Rogers head office sends each store a demo phone. Until that happens the store can not show off the phone seeing as they have no demo phone.

Actually you do not need a launch party. Even the states do not have launch parties. The only time i have seen one is with the iPhone at the Apple stores.

Got mine at Best Buy today. Loving so far! Just need to track down a screen protector now.

I was told my rogers wont be getting them in till next thursday (april 19th) at the earliest. so sad.

Yes. Some stores like the corporate store of Rogers at Bloor underneath the Rogers tower is getting them sometime soon. The Rogers plus stores get shipment of phones around Monday & Thursday. The stores have no way of knowing which phones come on the shipment seeing as the get sent out from the warehouse.
