After hearing the advertisements and seeing the apparent benefits, I set up Rogers One Number. That was mistake number one.
First I ended up having to reset all of my passwords (email, Rogers account, Rogers One Number).
Second, I continually get an error when trying to use the Contacts application - "You are not registered" (I am registered of course)
Third, the web application for Rogers One Number tells me that they are aware of the issue but that the system is currently down giving me error 1001
Fourth, in speaking with the Rogers Technical Rep, I am told that the system is frequently down.
What is the benefit of using this service? I am unable to use it and of course if I set up a calling plan to forward my number, I am stuck if the service is down and I have to make a change.
And now - although I clarified with a Rep BEFORE setting up Rogers One Number - I can no longer use the Call Forwarding feature of my phone.
What a mess and nobody seems to be able to help.
Garbage. Rogers strikes again with their inability to program a system properly or maintain it.
What a waste of time and effort.

Rogers One Number has been nothing but great for me.
If you're that unhappy with it, call customer service and have it removed from your account.
Sorry you've had problems with it.

The service isn't without it's bugs. I could list a bunch but I won't bore anyone. It is handy to use when sitting at a computer and sendings SMS messages. The call quality also isn't too bad, they use a high bandwidth codec, but most people have fast enough connections these days to handle G.711 ![]()
I find the Interface needs somework, and the features are slightly underwhelming, but what is there seems to work for the most part. As for call forwarding, this should be underthe Reach Me Rules which you can setup in the Interface.
