Hello gwotton,

Usually an EA or EB error indicates a firewall issue.  You have tried logging from multiple locations so it doesn't appear to be a router issue.   I will send you a PM to take a closer look at yoru account to make sure there were no provisioning errors when registering for Rogers One Number.

thanks,

RogersAshak

I installed Rogers One Number a few days ago, it worked for a few days. As of Sunday, I began to have problems. The biggest problem was that I was unable to hear the other side. (I tested by calling my landline and I have voicemail. When it was working I was able to hear the announcement and able to record and listen to my recorded message. When it is not working, I would not be able to hear the announcement at all, and my phone would blink to indicate that there is a message in the mail box. After calling Rogers technical support three times, they decided that they it is a problem with my pc and had no interest in helping. I tried it on a different computer (which is very told) and I had the same problem.

By the way, I also skype and gmail talk on the same computer and I have no problem to get them working.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem as a poster a couple of posts up from this one....

My login credentials work perfectly on my laptop and I love Rogers one.  When I log off and my wife logs in with her credentials, it says "server rejected".

I have spoken with 3 different help desk agents.  The most recent one tried to tell me that it's a problem with my computer.  HOW?!  It works perfectly on my computer and does not work with my wife's credentials.

Her credentials have never worked on the login page.  Always server rejected.  Her credentials DO work on the rogersonenumber.com site... so I know the credentials are correct.

Please advise.  This is getting nutty and we'd love to use this while on vacation starting tomorrow morning.  I've been trying to get it working for 4 or 5 days now ever since I first installed it.

Please help.  Many thanks.

No body from Rogers ever responded to the message I posted three weeks ago, and nobody from the community ever posted a suggestion.

But surprisingly when I tried RON again early this morning, I touched the keypad inadvertantly and it responded, so I decided to try making a call using the key pad instead of using the directory.

The call went through, both sides were able to hear from the other side.

It has been working ever since. When I first installed RON it worked for two days and then died. I wonder how long it will last this time.

Did you ever get this resolved?  I am having the same problem.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the windows mobile client and the problem persists.  i can text, receive texts (no notifications) but get the same error when clicking on the green phone.  Frustrating.

OK, so I tried again this morning.  I turned off Norton Internet Security. I tried different internet connections.  I tried different browsers.  No change.  The web phone is broken!  Funny thing is, I don't really care about the web phone functionality.  I just want to be notified that a text message or phone call has come in when my cell is off or in another room when I am at my computer.

I stopped using the texting capabilities.  Any text message you send is not included in the message history on the phone.  Kind of defeats the purpose.

Great concept if it worked!
