Is there a reason why I cannot dial toll free numbers using RON? I often need to dial into a conference bridge for work and the only way to do this is by dialing a toll free number (in this case, a 1-888-xxx-xxxx number, but I have confirmed other toll free also do not work)

Hi ITProChrisHall,
As Rogers One Number supports toll free numbers you should be able to place these calls. Are you receiving any error messages?

Keep in mind, with 1-8xx numbers, they are region specific. Just because somebody has a 1-800 number, doesn't mean you can call them from Canada or vice versa. It could be how Roger's is routing the call through their network too.
Do you mind providing the number here so others can test it?

I performed some additional tests tonight on known and random 800, 888 and 877 toll free numbers. I found that some work and others do not work.
My conference bridge that does not work is located in North America somewhere (I believe BC) and is accessible from my cell phone, the same cellphone that is assinged to my RON. That conference bridge number is 1-888-809-4060. Another toll free that is broken is Aeroplan at 1-800-361-5373. I receive a fast busy when calling these toll free samples.
Interesting that I am able to get through to some North American tollfree numbers and not others using RON, yet all of them are available on my regular cell phone.
Perhaps the routing for outbound RON calls is taking place from a Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) that does not have it's own toll-free tables up-to-date (Local Access and Transport Areas - or LATA) or does not have arrangements with Interchange Carriers (IXC's) to provide the authority to allow the toll free calls from the odd-ball LEC or LATA RON is using. In any case, RON is not establishing the call and I receive a fast busy.
Can Rogers or anyone else look into this?

I am not receiving an error message. I get a fast busy when dialing a valid toll free number.
For further information, see my response to another post just a few minutes ago.

I tired the number for Aeroplan and it worked right away. Maybe it was a temporary glitch or something?

I tried both numbers provided. Both on my cell and on RON. Both worked successfully. If it's still not working for you, I'd suggest calling tech support because it would appear that it's a problem with your account then.

I was speaking with a first tier Rogers Support analyst a few minutes ago. He cannot see any problem with my account. He took my information, my problem toll free numbers, and is escalating to the next level of support. I don't know when I might hear back from them.
I still cannot dial the two toll free numbers with my RON. I get a fast busy signal. Yet others (like mbazdell on this forum) can dial them without any issues on their RON account. NOTE: I can dial these same numbers with my regular cell phone without issue.
I will post results here if I get any further with Rogers Support.

After a couple calls with Rogers support, they have finally reproduced the problem.
They cannot see anything obviously wrong with my RON account setup specifically. They indicated they see odd traffic and converstions taking place when dialing some tollfree numbers. The were of the opinion this must be affecting all RON clients to these tollfree systems.
I mentioned to them that not all RON clients were experiencing the same problem to these same numbers.
mbazdell, you mentioned that you were successful in calling the two tollfree numbers with your RON? Rogers support said it would be helpful if they could compare the two accounts. (mine and a working account)
