While surfing on my Rogers I saw a message that I may need a digital adapter to continue receiving a cable signal. I figured I'd better look into it... The thing was delivered and I set it up, but it actually delivered a worse quality signal/navigation than my current cable box (Explorer 3200). How the heck can I return this digital adapter to Rogers? Every time I walk into a Rogers store they tell me they only handle Rogers wireless requests so I'm guessing it wouldn't be possible to return it there?

First you need to go to a Rogers PLUS store. That is the store that handles Cable & movie stuff & wireless stuff. The Rogers wireless or Rogers authorized stores do not handle cable stuff. If you went to a Rogers PLUS store & they tell you they only do wireless stuff then that is a lie.
Second the Digital Adapter is free why bother returning it? You can throw it out or give it to someone that needs one. Anyways you can call Rogers tech support & ask them over the phone if they can send you a waybill for UPS & send it over mail Or best bet is go into a Rogers plus store & give it to them. Either way will be a waste of time doing all this seeing as the Digital Adapter was sent out to everyone for free ( the ones that asked for it).
Also the Digital Adapter of for the people that are still using Analog. IF you are using digital you do not need it. I have a few people that got the Digital Adapter & had bad / weird signal & the screen was terrible but barely anyone read the page before ordering on.

Meowmix is correct in that you did not need the digital adapter since you already had a digital terminal. For customers without a digital terminal, they are currently watching an analogue signal, but since these are being converted to a digital format, you will need a digital adapter in order to keep receiving the signal.
However, despite the fact that Rogers is providing the digital adapter for free, they are still owned by Rogers. I would not advise you to throw it away or give it to someone else. I have read that there is a $50 fee if the digital adapter is not returned to Rogers once you no longer need it - such as cancelling your cable or upgrading to a digital terminal.

dont throw it out, if u disconnect your cable service they will expect it back and charge u for them.

There is obviously a cost to Rogers for purchasing this equipment. It really does not make sense that they would simply give it away and allow people to throw it out. In fact, I have a friend in Windsor with Cogeco and they are charging customers $2 per month for a digital adapter. It would not surprise me in the least if Rogers eventually phased in these charges too!

Im not saying i disagree with what meowmix's friend told him, but then again, ive had people tell me they didnt get charged for this or for that, but it turned out they were misinformed or uneducated. It does not matter if meowmix;s friend threw it in the trash and never got charged, whats important is for YOU to understand that u should return them because we dont want to see you get charged for them. especially if you truely and genuinley do not need them since you aready have digital terminals
