The digital time display on my 8642HD box shows random numbers such as 7:97 or 99:12 etc, seems totally random, but the time display is never correct. This started happening about 2 days ago after a couple months of trouble free use. Recording times seem to be unaffected, it is only the digital display that is malfunctioning. Also, the digital display of the channel is wrong. When you key in 514 for CBC , it displays 979, but the correct channel does come up on the TV. I have tried cold reboot a couple of times without success. I am suspecting that this is a hardware problem.
