Hey guys, wondering if someone can help me out. I have a digital box and all I’m getting is a snowy picture.  I know I have to turn the TV to channel 3, but ever since I moved the TV to another room, all I get is channel 2, with no way to change it to 3. Any suggestions?

When the TV was unplugged, the factory settings were applied (unintentionally of course).  If you have no remote you can:

Try programming the TV into the Rogers Universal remote and use that to change the channels on the TV.                          

Using this website (http://urcsupport.com/html.php?page_id=441) as a resource, type in the brand of your television and the most common code will be presented to you.  Using that code do the following on a Universal remote. 

a. Press TV button.

b. keep the “setup” button pressed until the “TV” button flashes twice. 

c. let go and enter the 4 digit code.

d. press TV then power.    

If you’re TV turned off, then your remote is set.  Turn the TV back on, then press “TV” then 03.
