Hello and thank you for your question.

In the near future some upper channels will not be available for viewing unless a Digital Adaptor or Digital Box is being used.

Digital Adaptors are available to all customers for free and for each analog outlet you are on billing for. If you move and are keeping Rogers service please keep the boxes with you for your new location; or please return the Digital Adaptors to Rogers. You can return the Digital Adaptors to any Rogers Plus store with a Cable Service Counter. There will be a charge for any unreturned Digital Adaptors.

If you are experiencing a picture quality issue after the the installation please feel free to call our Technical Support Department to assist with troubleshooting, if required they will dispatch a technician to make any signal or cable repairs. Also, please feel free to call to see if you qualify for a Digital Adaptor. (Varies by region & package)

Many thanks,

-Jeffrey

Some one please confirm. I heard that once you activate the Digital Adapter, for someone who has a paid outlet but used a splitter to get 2 additoinal outlets for the analog cable signal, you will not be able to watch any TVs when connected to the the remaining 2 outlets unless you have 2 more adapters for each of the outlet.

My understanding is that you are allowed one digital adapter for each registered analog outlet on your account. The additional outlets used on a splitter would not be entitled to a digital adapter. You still might receive the lower tier channels with your splitter, but without a DTA, the higher tier would no longer be available. Rogers charges a $6.99 per month fee for additional outlets unless you have VIP, which entitles you to three additional outlets at no extra charge.

My understanding is the same as IHR's on this.

Currently, there would really be no change to your viewing weither with or without on the other TV's, as the analog is still being pushed out.. FOR THE MOMENT.

As soon as the analog is fully cut off.. you would HAVE to have the DTA's to be able to view.
