This is happening to me too......the whole "there is a simple solution" posts about getting a new cable box are not true....this is the 3rd cable box and its still not working......beyond annoying, and the best is when it finally does decide to work there are no new TV shows on there..............so you sit through 20 mins of ads/promos for movies to have ROD eventually load up and the TV shows haven't been updated in a month..............beautiful

I had the same issue I called Rogers. They send a tech out with the new Cisco Explorer 8642HD.
Then I called Rogers so they could enter a code to get the new Rogers guide which is quicker and better when you need to load ROD.
This is all new because of the Netbox promo.

I have the same problem for the past few weeks, but never really got time to call Rogers (though seems from the posts here it would be of questionable result), so this weekend when we wanted to have a family movie night and realized the yellow A triable button was not working again, we just went to ur PS3 next to the Rogers box, subscribed to the 1 month free Netflix offer and solved our ROD problem for good - the choice of the movies was much better than what we heard and for $7.99 (starting from the following month), we already paid monthly subscription off with 2 movies and one TV series we watched on Netflix since then. Now, the only remaining thing is to switch to another internet provider, too so we don't have to pay our current outrageous internet access price!
It's quote annoying that Rogers no longer even bother with an email address for TV problems, and live chat doesn't deal with this sort of issues.
Rogers (for whatever reason) has droped their email support. I have seen a number of other large companies do this recently as well I dont necessarily think its a GOOD thing... but they do apparently (time savings or something likely).
If it is something that live chat can not help with, your only real option is to call in.
Have you tried rebooting your box to get the RoD menu to come back up?
