If Rogers wants to gain marketshare over Bell, they should introduce A la Carte packages.
I used to have Videotron in Quebec and they had great A la Carte packages. They are currently offering these:
- 10 channels for $17
- 15 for $22
- 20 for $24
- 25 for $28
- 30 for $32
Obviously, you need to subscribe to the base service. And you have a minimum Canadian channels requirement.
Videotron introduced this years ago. Want a proof that they caused Bell a lot of trouble? Bell ultimately introduced similar A la Carte packages but in Quebec only. If Bell introduces this in Ontario, I will consider switching to them even if I'm not a big fan of them.
