Hi,

I just added voicemail onto my Blackberry and everytime I press down 1 to activate it, it starts dialing but then disconnects. Anyone else have this problem and fix it?

perhaps its calling the incorrect number? did it ask you toenter the vm number? if you call and ask for a re-send to switch it populates the correct number

Welcome to the Rogers community,

If you just added the voicmail feature to your account best practice is to power cycle your device (remove the battery from your device and place it back in). That may resolve the issue.

If it does not,

Please attempt to follow above these steps from the blackberry :

Click on the Green Button on the device( Place call button)

Click on the MENU buttons (Blackberry sign on the left of the track ball )

Select Option

Go to Voicemail

What access number do you show here ?

NOTE: If your phone number is listed here you will need to call our techinal support line at 1-866-931-DATA to get the correct number.  Once you enter the correct number

Click on MENU button

Click SAVE

Then try accessing your voicmail again.
