January 22nd the cancellation policy is changing. In a nut shell, the cost of cancelling voice is going down and data is going up. Call and ask for the retentions people as they have just been trained on the new policy or read the article in Mobile Syrup.
The cancellation costs won't change unless she has a renewed contract after January 22nd. The cost to cancel will still be $20 per month for the voice line, up to $400.00 and an additional $5.00 per month for the data (min of $25.00..max of $100.00)
