Our service is via modem out side on a 10 foot pole on my roof. Our neibours and I get our connection from a towel on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river by Quyon. I have spend at least 2 full days on the phone with Rogers telephone help lines. Wow what a waste of time. Not one person knew the location of the towel or what I was talking about? How can a company run with such unknowledgable incompident people. Rogers has informed us (our neibours that at the end of this month will be discontinued. We in my neibourhood can not see the towels behind us in Ontario but we can see the towel by Quyon Quebec, which we are using now. I am trying to determine from rogers if they will convert this towel to use their new Rocket Hub. But no one could tell me. The Rogers help lime people just went on that I should use cable, they would not listen to the fact that we do not have cable. It was like talking to a car dealership. Totally not interested and not knowing people. I see that Rogers has changed their contact phone numbers, they have removed their executive office. I expect they where getting too many calls and rather than fix the problem they just removed the telephone number. Anyone know a connection to someone who knows something at Rogers?

Hi Onewatt,

I'd like to assist in answering your question, but you have not acknowledged what service you are referring to. I'm assuming you are referring to Portable Internet.

If so; on Dec. 7th all Portable Internet users were mailed individually and advised that as of March 1st 2012 the service would be shut down.

If this was not your question or you have another please feel free to PM me.

Thanks, RogersDarrell
