Sure you can!

Here's the instructions:

1. Dial your home telephone number. (NOTE: Your home phone will ring.)
2. Once you hear your recorded greeting, press .
3. Enter your password. You are now in the Voicemail Main menu.
4. From the Voicemail Main menu, enter to listen to your new Voicemail messages.

You can this and more in the User Guide here: http://downloads.rogershelp.com/multiproduct/guides/ROG_3892_BODY_GDE_EN_LRez.pdf

According to the guide posted, you press '9' not '*'.

Away from home, as a local call:
1. Dial your home telephone number. (NOTE: Your home phone will ring.)
2. Once you hear your recorded greeting, press 9.
3. Enter your password. You are now in the Voicemail Main menu.
4. From the Voicemail Main menu, enter 11 to listen to your new Voicemail messages.

Please use plain text.
