High-pitched voice causes phone connection to disconnect

Hi there!

We're having a very unusual problem with our home phone that I'm hoping someone can finally help us with. Sometimes when someone is talking on the phone, if the kids in the background make noise (laugh or scream) or even if my 8-year-old daughter is on the phone with people they often suddenly get disconnected from the call and an automated female voice comes on the line and says "Hello. Please enter your PIN.". For my daughter it can happen very frequently making conversations with friends resulting in calling back time after time. Recently it seems to be getting worse because now it is happening when my wife is on the phone.

It seems to be tied to any high-pitched noise that I'm guessing the phone interprets as a frequency that drops it into a service menu but I'm not sure. Shortly after we originally had the phone installed we talked with Rogers about this but they weren't able to help us out and it wasn't so bad at the time. Now it has become more of a problem and so here I am. We've tried different physical phones on different outlets in the house to no avail.

Are there any internal settings that can be changed to modify the sensitivity to various frequencies? Is there something that can be done so that my wife/kids can have successful phone calls?

Your help is greatly appreciated!
