Can you try these ports for me to confirm it please?

26000-26005

9000-9005

2003

If they work on canyouseeme, than I know it may be my setup (I doubt it)

Thanks!

Gdkitty where do you get the firmware updates from for 3825, can't find it on Cisco site?

I have not upgraded the firmware.  I am using the stock rogers one.

Again, im using STOCK rogers firmware on the 3825.

I set my FTP server port to, individualy each of the above addresses.

canyouseeme was able to talk to them just fine (saw the attempt on the ftp)

So it doesnt appear rogers is specificaly blocking those ports.

I went to that site and all ports are closed but when I test the programs I'm using like utorrent it says my ports are open, so are those ports sites even correct?

Many programs like utorrent, use UPnP, which acts a little different.. as loing as the router supports it, it sorta opens the ports as necessary..but may not respond to a ping like test like from a site like that.

Comparatively.. say like when i tested above.

Test 2003... nothing.
Test 2003 after i forward the port istelf, but no program listening for it.... nothing

Change FTP to that port.... communicates fine.

Cisco DPC3825: Port Forwarding does not work?

Hello,

Essentially I'm trying to forwarded the following ports:

26000~26005

9000~9005

2003

I've went to live chat with Rogers, and asked if they have blocked ports, they stated no.

--> I've also portforwarded everything correctly

--> I've turned off all my firewalls

--> I've turned of avast

Result:

--> Nothing works still.

What's interesting is that only some of the ports will work and show on "canyouseeme"

--> 26000 will work, 26001~26005 will not

--> 9000~9005 will not work

--> 2003 will work

I had a nice member "GDKITTY" attempt to help me solve my crisis via remote desktop as well, however there was no luck there.

Any help would greatly be apperciated,

Thank you.
