As of two days ago I've been experiencing stupidly high ping on ventrilo whenever I talk and I wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problems.Whenever I talk in our toronto located server, my ping shoots up to 12000-20000 and to be honest it's been very annoying as **bleep**

I would try two things.

Open a command prompt, and run

ping your.server.ip.here -t

Let it run and just see if its spikes all on its own.. then try connecting, and try talking.. see if there are spikes, at what times (if at all).

I would also try a tracert to your vent servers IP.. just to see if there is a dropoff inbetween.. May not be either end directly effecting it.. could be the vent server has moved location, etc.
