I have a client witha rogers.com email - he is able to access email through an old version of Outlook in WIndows 2000
I am moving him to a freshly installed Outlook on 2010 on WIndows 7. He cannot send or receive emails using the same settings as in the old version of Outlook.
I added a second non Rogers email account in Outlook and that works fine. I have reentered all the settings twice to ensure no mistyping.
I am able to access his email using Windows Live using the same settings that fail in Outlook 2010
Try the following servers:
Incoming mail server settings
POP server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings
SMTP server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
(use ...@rogers.com as the username)
If it still doesn't work, what error message do you get?
